BYBORRE® showcases how it’s redefining the future of textiles at Dutch Design Week and Orgatec

AMSTERDAM, 17 OCTOBER 2024  At this year’s Dutch Design Week, BYBORRE presents CREATE!, a citywide exhibition showcasing the versatility of its cutting-edge textile platform. The exhibition highlights the power of collaboration and technology, inspiring creatives to take charge of the impact their choices have on shaping the future.

As a pioneer in textile innovation, BYBORRE enables designers, interior architects, and creatives to design distinctive textiles. The platform simplifies the design process, allowing anyone to easily translate ideas into knitted textiles using real-time visualization tools, offering bespoke solutions for interiors, apparel, and beyond.

BYBORRE’s revolutionary zero-inventory production  model ensures textiles are produced only when needed. The company is part of a growing movement towards responsible creation of textiles, a shift addressing both the significant environmental impact of overproducing while amplifying consumer preferences for personalized and responsible practices.

BYBORRE’s certified yarn library and textile passport ensure full transparency by providing detailed insights into material origin, composition, and recyclability, promoting responsible sourcing and empowering creators to make informed choices for conscious textile creation—well ahead of current industry standard.

During Dutch Design Week, BYBORRE presents a vibrant citywide exhibition showcasing collaborations that highlight the adaptability of BYBORRE's textile platform. This exhibition celebrates the creative journey as an evolving process of experimentation and discovery, demonstrating how effective tools can unlock new possibilities. It also underscores the significance of community, emphasizing how collaboration among creators can foster inspiration and mutual support in the quest for impactful design.

Design isn’t just about creating a product—it’s about shaping the entire supply chain from raw materials up. The choices we make at every stage have a lasting impact, and we need to approach them with greater responsibility. When we design with this mindset, we pave the way for a more positive future.
