Amsterdam / London, September 2026 - BYBORRE, the Amsterdam-based textile innovation company, presents DUNE, a new 3D knitted textile developed in collaboration with London design studio Raw Edges.
The collaboration draws inspiration from landscapes in which geometry is revealed: earthworks, crop circles, and ploughed fields - exploring how geometric patterns can emerge directly from a structure of 3D knitting, rather than being created through colour or print. Made from a wool blend, DUNE is presented in a palette of warm, earthy neutrals with carefully balanced saturation, enhancing the natural character of the material and creating a calm, grounded aesthetic. By translating this principle into knit, the collection celebrates texture, geometry and craftsmanship. The result is a contemporary range of textiles that offers subtle visual depth and rich tactile quality.
Knit gave us a way to think about pattern as structure rather than image. DUNE is less about depicting a landscape and more about letting the textile behave like one.Raw Edges
DUNE is presented at this year's London Design Festival, shown at The WAX Building as part of Shoreditch Design Week. It will dress a new four-seat Chaise Longue configuration, designed by Raw Edges for Cozmo's Rest sofa, extending the textile's language of landscape and relief from surface into form.
The WAX Building is the East London design destination and permanent home for independent British design brands — Cozmo, Tamart, Minimalux and Lightmass^. Located in the heart of Shoreditch at 4 Garden Walk and set over four floors, in a former Victorian factory for waxing and shellacking furniture, the resident brands continue this heritage of making. The WAX Building is an all-year-round stop-off for industry, innovation and creativity, as well as a mainstay on the London Design Festival map.

Nadav Hassan and Jacob Peres founded Cozmo with a vision to revolutionise the furniture industry by democratising design through a direct-to-consumer model. They observed that design innovation, particularly in upholstery, was often reserved for premium markets, while new D2C brands focused more on disrupting the business model than the product itself. By consistently collaborating with award-winning designers, Cozmo creates furniture that not only meets but anticipates the changing needs and tastes of modern consumers. Cozmo’s approach is inherently user-focused, ensuring every piece is designed with the consumer in mind. Their mantra, “Don’t Replace it, Update it,” reflects their commitment to longevity and customizability, offering adaptable products that evolve with their customers’ lifestyles.
